Another coastal town, it is well-known for its beaches, villas, and fort.  It is a place where you can go and relax. The best season to visit Alibaug is Monsoon. The beauty of Alibaug tides is breathtaking.

Take a ferry to drive down Alibaug from the gateway of India.  It only takes an hour to reach there by sea from where you may choose rickshaw till your resort. It’s one of the best places to visit in Konkan.

3. Dapoli

This town is most popular for having the longest and the largest in the country.  Famous sea forts like Karde beach, Suvarnadurg fort, and Unhavare are the main attractions and the right time to visit there is in a Hot spring.

But if you visit Dapoli, then don’t forget to visit the most famous Panhalekaji Buddhist caves.

4. Ratnagiri

Ratnagiri is not just popular for its mangoes,  but also it is one of the best tourist destination well known for its temples, monuments, and beaches. The Black Sand beach is another most popular beach and Thibaw palace.  Visiting Ratnagiri is now very easy thanks to the Konkan railway track.
