The total height of this colossal statue is 369 ft or 112 m including the 34 m tall pedestal. However, it is fourth after Laykyun Sekkya (380 ft) on the list of tallest statues in the world.

4. Statue of Belief Can Fit 10000 People

You won’t believe it from the outside so step inside the world’s tallest shiva statue. Inside this towering architecture is a big hall where 10000 devotees can fit at a time. If not scared of heights, you can explore the Nathdwara from a height through the escalators inside the statue. There are four lifts and 3 stairs installed to take the tourists from the ground floor to a total height of 270 ft.

6. Meet Tallest Nandi Statue

Lord Shiva's statue is incomplete without the Nandi. Thus, the complex also has a giant statue of Nandi whose height is 25 ft, approx 7.6m.

7. A Solid Framework

The entire structure is built using concrete and strengthened by the steel framework. The exteriors have a base coating of liquefied zinc followed by copper coating. All these materials will keep the Statue of Belief withstand wind up to 250mph strong. If you don’t know how strong it is, wind with this much speed has caused deadly hurricanes in the world. The copper and zinc coating will save the Vishwas Swaroopam’s beauty from the harsh rain and sun rays for 250 years.

8. A thousand Tonnes of Material Used

You’d be stunned to know that around 3000 tonnes of steel are used to make the Nathdwara shiva statue. Concrete of 2.5 Lakh cubic tonnes is also used to give a strong core to the structure.

9. A 4 Hours Trip

Although the height and unique construction will make you stay for hours, the detailed trip will take nearly 4 hours. For ardent devotees, even this much time is not enough to capture the massiveness of Lord Shiva in their hearts and mind.

The Statue of Belief in Rajasthan is built by the Shapoorji Pallonji Group and was the idea of Indian business magnate, Madan Paliwal. He is a founder of Miraj Group and owner of several companies like Miraj Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, Miraj Developers Ltd, etc.

How to Reach the Statue of Belief in Nathdwara?

Vishwas Swaroopam is located in the western part of Rajasthan and northeast of Udaipur in Nathdwara. You will find Mahadeva here resting peacefully surrounded by the Aravalli hills and the banks of Chambal’s tributary, the Banas river. To reach here, you can get off to Rajsamand district and then take a bus to Nathdwara. Then take another public transport to Ganesh tekri.

For enjoying all the facilities and sightseeing at the Statue of Belief, one has to pay a minimal fee which is not decided yet by the government. However, it is expected to be confirmed soon as the Statue of Belief in Nathdwara is now open to the public.
