There are so many countries in the world to visit, but there are things which made Dubai completely different from the rest of the countries. According to the wealth report, Dubai is home to around 20,000 millionaires. here are some of the top things that you can only see in Dubai.

1. Palm Islands

Palm Jebel Ali, Deira Island, and Palm Jumeirah are three artificial islands on the coast of Dubai that began their lives way back in 2001.

Palm Jumeirah is open to the public and contains entertainment and leisure centers as well as home and public beaches.

The other two islands are slated to open any time between now and the end of the year (supposedly) and are expected to be a top-rated attraction in the city already widely known for its tourism.

Reportedly, 2.5 Empire State Buildings worth of sand was imported in to construct the islands, which is entirely crazy. The things you find in Dubai…. Crazy.

2. Gold

Did you know that approximately 40% of the physical gold trade in all the world occurs in Dubai? These wealthy sons (and daughters) a britches traded $70 billion worth of physical gold in Dubai in 2013 alone, which weighs in at approximately the same weight as 354 elephants, 2,250 tons, and that my friends, is why we should all move to the city and leave our mundane lives behind.

3. Wild Animals

In the city, wild, exotic, dangerous animals are kept as pets and can be found traveling alongside their owners in the passenger seats of many cars as you can see in these pictures! One of the crazy things you will see in Dubai.

It’s not uncommon to see cheetahs, lions, or tigers just chillin’ when you look over to a car next to you! It’s not illegal either. You may think that this practice should be illegal, right? Well, as of 2017, it is! A new law took effect that bans owning and taming a wild animal such as the wild cats, mentioned previously, in the city. But for years people could, and did, and the animals became a sort of status symbol. Now, owning one could land you in a lot of trouble, and you could end up having to pay the equivalent of $136,000 in fines or possibly face six months of jail time! Yikes!

4. Indoor City

The city that is already so innovative and incredible itself is now planning on building a city inside a city, an Inception of sorts, and it shall be climate-controlled and is set to be 50,000,000 square feet like what you see in this picture here.

The plans are to have it be a 4.3-mile pedestrian mall that is equipped with a retractable done to provide customers with the perfect climate, year-round, inside, in the middle of the desert as you can see in this picture here. Crazy!

5. Car Graveyard

Not only are luxury cars spotted all of the city and streets of Dubai, but there is also a luxury car graveyard in the city.

Here you can find pretty much any make or model, as long as it’s expensive and fancy. The lot boasts limited car edition like Ferraris, Porsches, Jaguars, Audis, Oldsmobile collector’s items, Lamborghinis, DeLoreans, Mercedes-Benzs, BMWs, and much more as you can see in these pictures.

This place is enough to drive any car collector mad as these luxury vehicles literally waste away under the desert sun, collecting dust and years. More recently, auctions began to try and sell some of the incredible, expensive, and rare vehicles, rather than just let them deteriorate away to dust. Oh, Dubaians.

6. Ski Dubai

So you may or may not know this, but Dubai has a full-on indoor ski resort, which is part of the Mall of the Emirates.

The resort was actually opened way back in 2005 and boasts 22,500 square meters of skiing area, in the frickin’ desert. It’s unreal what these people can do! There are five different slopes of varying steepness for different ability levels that run down from the top of an 85-meter-high mountain, all indoors.

It hosts the world’s first indoor black diamond run, a 400-meter-long run, and various park features such as rails, boxes, and kickers that are consistently changed to spice things up a bit.

There is a tow lift, a quad lift, sled, and toboggan runs, climbing towers, an ice cave, giant snowballs, an icy body slide, and even penguins who are let out and about at different times throughout the day. Can you even believe it? But you have to, though! This resort accounts to be one of the crazy things you will see in Dubai.
