By Train: You can board the famous Darjeeling train from Sealdah and various other express trains on a daily basis from all over the country to reach the nearest railhead New Jalpaiguri. On reaching New Jalpaiguri, you can board the famous Toy Train which chugs its way up to reach Darjeeling.

By Road: You can board buses run from Calcutta to Siliguri. Darjeeling is well-connected to Siliguri. After deporting one at Siliguri, you will enjoy a 2-hour drive from forest and beautiful tea gardens by private taxi or bus to reach Darjeeling.
