2. Raikulam National Park

This garden is 15 kms away from Munnar. This place falls in Devikulam. Anamudi peak is found in the southern area of the park. Originally, this park was constructed to protect the Nilgiri wild goats. In 1975, it was declared a “Century”.

Considering its importance in the environment of flora and fauna, it was declared a National Park in 1978. Spread over 97 sq km, this park is famous for its natural beauty.

3. Pallahivasal

Pallahivasal is three km away from Munnar’s Chitrapuram area. This is the place which is known for the first Hydro Electric project in Kerala. This place is quite beautiful and the tourists’ favorite picnic spot too.
